WA voters have spoken: itβs time to phase out greyhound racing
This is the first in-depth voter survey ever conducted on dog racing in Western Australia. The results are clear: greyhound racing no longer has the support of the public. 60% of Western Australians want the WA Parliament to phase out dog racing.

- There is no partisan or urban/rural divide on this issue.
- A majority of voters in every political party support phasing out greyhound racing.
- Every Legislative Assembly electorate shows majority support for ending dog racing.

Taxpayers do not want their money used to prop up an industry that puts greyhounds at risk of injury, exploitation, and death.

With strong majority support across WA, this is an unprecedented opportunity to protect greyhounds by phasing out the dog racing industry. The public wants change β and it is the right thing to do.
