The Mayor of Canning, Patrick Hall, reignites debate over greyhound racing in Western Australia.

After Mayor Hall spoke out about the recent spate of greyhound deaths at Cannington racetrack, Free the Hounds were asked to discuss the issues they have regarding the state of not only Cannington but racing in general in Western Australia.

Four dogs have died racing on the Cannington track in just 14 days of race meetings held there in 2024. One also lost its life at Mandurah racetrack.
