Meeting at Northam

Race 8 – Mixed 5/6/Country/509 – Mixed 5/6 – 7:34 PM

After the completion of the race and prior to entering the catching pen, CYCLONE FERGIE stumbled and fell. A post
race veterinary examination revealed that CYCLONE FERGIE   had a Right – Hindleg – Tarsal Fracture/Dislocation (Hock)
and has been stood down for 90 days. The greyhound was medically stabilised and then transferred to the care of the
custodian for presentation to a veterinary hospital for assessment and treatment under the RWWA Greyhound     Injury Trainer Rebate Scheme. Trainer Mr B Maclean was directed by the On Track Veterinarian to have CYCLONE FERGIE
further examined by a Veterinary Surgeon within 18 hours.
