A post-race veterinary examination revealed that SUNSET COBRA had a Fractured Right accessory carpal bone and has been stood down for 42 days.
The greyhound was medically stabilised and then transferred from the racecourse to a veterinary hospital for assessment and treatment under the RWWA Greyhound Injury Recovery Scheme. The greyhound will be transferred to the custodian following treatment.
